Safety Receives ACORD Download Award |

Safety Insurance received this year's "Download Company of the Year Award"
for Percent of Growth at the 2002 ACORD Conference. To win the award, Safety increased
the number of agents participating in the AL3 download process from 260 in 2001
to 374 in 2002 based on the 2002 ACORD survey. After receiving the ACORD XML Early
Adopter Award last year for the InsureAnswer claims inquiry application, Safety
has now had two consecutive winning years at the ACORD conference.
The annual ACORD Conference features speakers, presentations, and exhibitions that showcase how strategy, technology, and industry standards are taking shape in the insurance business today. The 2002 conference was well attended by insurance carriers, vendors and independent agents. Bob Duggan and Steve Varga represented Safety at the conference and accepted the Download Company of the Year award on the company's behalf.
