Combined Bill

We offer a combined billing option for policyholders that wish to have all their Safety insurance policies combined onto a single bill. Policyholders that choose to consolidate the billing of their insurance policies within this combined account will be billed monthly as long as there is a balance.

About the availability of online payments - credit cards, PayPal

Safety Insurance offers Online Bill Pay, a convenient way for you to pay your Safety Insurance bill. You may pay for any Safety Insurance policy or your Combined Bill account by entering your checking account information along with the amount you'd like to pay. User registration is required. Safety Insurance currently does not offer the ability to pay bills through the use of credit cards or payment services such as PayPal.

 

Payment options for Auto insurance

Safety offers three payment options. Your Safety agent can help you select the one that best meets your needs.

  1. You can pay the entire premium in full at the time you apply for insurance or when your policy comes up for renewal:
  2. If you choose to pay less than the full premium, our installment billing plan is automatically activated. After you pay the down payment, the plan provides for 9 additional payments that are due on the same day each month. A billing charge is assessed on each bill.

    In Massachusetts, the type of billing charge depends on the SDIP points associated with the operators of each vehicle. The billing charge will either be a $6 service fee or a 15% finance charge. A late charge of $25.00 is assessed if payments are not received by the due date.

    In New Hampshire, a $4 service fee is assessed on each bill. A late charge of $15 is assessed if payments are not received by the due date.
  3. You can enroll in the SAFETY ADVANTAGE program and have payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account. There are no monthly billing charges when you participate in this payment program.

If you have been cancelled for non-payment during the past two years, a 100% down payment is required.

Payment options for Homeowners and Umbrella insurance

Safety offers three payment options. Your Safety agent can help you select the one that best meets your needs:

  1. You can pay the entire premium in full at the time you apply for insurance or when your policy comes up for renewal.
  2. If you choose to pay less than the full premium upon renewal, our installment billing plan is automatically activated. The plan provides for 4 additional payments. A service fee of $6.00 (in Massachusetts) or $4.00 (in New Hampshire) is assessed on all bills except for the renewal bill.
  3. You can enroll in the SAFETY ADVANTAGE program and have payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account. There are no monthly billing charges when you participate in this payment program.
