Where do I find my Online Access Code?
As of May 1, 2009, your Online Access Code is located on your bill or EFT statement.
If you do not have a recent bill or EFT statement, you may request a code online.
Where do I find my Claims Online Access Code?
If you recently had an automobile accident, you may have received a claim letter with a Online Access Code number. If you no longer have your claim letter, you may request a claims Online Access Code online.
What if I cannot locate my bill and do not have a claims Online Access Code?
You can request that Safety mail you a letter with your Online Access Code by clicking on the link at the bottom of the 'Add a Policy' section from your My Account homepage.
You will then be taken to a page where you must enter your Policy Number or Combined Bill Account Number, your Zip Code and click the 'Send Code' button
You will then see a message confirming that the letter with your Online Access Code has been requested
After clicking on the 'Close' button, you will see your policy or CBA number listed as an inactive policy . At this point, the only function you will be able to use is the 'Pay Bill' feature.
Within 2-10 business days of making the request, you will receive a letter in the mail with your Online Access Code. You will then need to log back into your account at www.safetyinsurance.com and activate your account by clicking on the activate policy icon (shown in the image above).
This will open a page where you can enter your Online Access Code and then you can continue to pay bills and view your policy information.
If you lose the letter with your Online Access Code, you may click on the 'Lost Online Access Code' link and request that it be sent again. Once you have successfully entered your Online Access Code your policy will display under the 'Active Policies' section of your My Account homepage.
After I register for an online account and have active polices, what features are available?
There are many features available to you from your My Account homepage such as:
- Online Bill Payment
- Online Viewing of your Policy/Policies
- Online Viewing of your Automobile Claims
- Ability to View, E-mail or Print a Copy of your Automobile Insurance Card
- Online Viewing of the Contact Information for Your Insurance Agent
